SOLAR ENERGY

01  JOY SOLAR FARM PROJECT 

The project entails the development and establishment of a 50MW solar photovoltaic power station and construction of a 1×4.3km 132kV Lynx line from the solar plant to an existing 132kV line cut-in point by way of a switching station at the Tee point. The energy from this plant will be fed directly into a national grid. This project is currently at preparation stage.

02 ONIT Solar Farm Project 

The project entails the development and establishment of a 50 MWAC solar energy plant to generate electricity to feed into a national grid. The project scope includes the development and establishment of a 50MW solar plant. 132/33kVovo onsite substation, approximately 5km power transmission line switchyard and associated line bays. The project is currently at preparation stage.

03 Hyde Park Solar Farm Project

The project entails the development and establishment of a 20MW solar photovoltaic power station. The energy from this plant will be fed directly into a national grid. The project is currently at planning stage.

04 Bryden Solar Project

The project entails the development and establishment of an estimated 10MW solar plant to generate electricity to supper national grid the project is at initiation stage the land is owned by a Zimbabwean bank which measures 27 hectares in size.

03 DON Solar Project

The project entails the development and establishment of a 50MW solar energy plant to generate electricity. The generated electricity will be fed into a national grid. The project is at the planning stage ad the land is owned by a Financial bank measuring 79 hectares.

04 FORTITUDE Solar Project

the project entails the development and establishment of a 50MW solar energy plant to generate electricity at a farm in the southern province. The land is located about 20km from an established town and the generated electricity will be fed into a national grid. The project is at planning stage.

OIL & GAS

KEY HIGHLIGHTS:
• 20,000 hectare Coal Special Grant
• Total estimated 1,6 billion MT / estimated 400 million MT open cast & economic coal (30 year life of mine)
• Largely thermal coal (below 25 Calorific Values), potential for coking coal due to low swelling value (0.5)
• Potential for CBM deposits
• At full investment of $50 million (est. ROI = 8 years), IRR at 14% (all subject to global coal prices and operational efficiency)
PROGRESS – TIMELINES
2007: – Operating Company registered – Applied for Coal Special Grant
 
2011: – Paid non-refundable license fee of $USD100,000
 
2012: – Special Grant awarded by respective Government
 
2016: – Completion of a detailed technical report by reputable local coal experts to share with investors – Renewal process of license
WORK UNDERTAKEN
1. Inspection & site visits producing reports on geology and potential of the concession
2. Regular reports to Mining Affairs Board
3. A detailed technical report with geology, mine and business plan
WORK REQUIRED

1. Renewal of license (proof of funds, renewal fee, exploration work programme)

2. Initial exploration (3 holes / 50m each) = $60,000

3. Further drilling (20 holes / 50m each) – $350,000 (JORC /SAMREC compliancy)

4. Extensive Mine Development (logistic planning & design, machinery & equipment, marketing, mine planning & design)
